Breaking news!
Pure dastardly dastardliness from Camo. Only found through Youtube at this point in time through the highly respected Liquicity channel, this little gem is fresh out of Ableton and onto my blog! Booya!

Some DVW Recognition!
Pretty chuffed with this guy, he sent through a message on youtube concerning an off-the-cuff video remix I did while poring over some hefty revision, turns out the guy is DVW, the man behind the remix!
Asked me to send over a copy and I duly obliged, loving his work, check it out here and subscribe to his Youtube as well as keeping updated on his movements throughFacebook, Myspace. Certainly a busy man and definitely one to watch blow up worldwide!

Avalanche!
Any track that starts with a horse whinneying has class written all over it.
Take the madmen that compromise the individuals in The Avalanches, the lyrics are nonsense, the song divulges no intrinsic meaning, doesn't take any genre too seriously and interprets its own self importance through the sheer lunacy of its composition.
Sounds good to me.

One Man and His Music Machine!
A guy by the name of Troels Abrahamsen creates sweet sounding bassy vibes, he has streamed his entire forthcoming album through his site Supertroels and I thought I would support him as I love his sound. Definitely a step away from the usual posts, but a step in the right direction nonetheless!

Celebrate Good Times Come On!

11,500 is a big number, too big and some might say unnecessary. Not big enough for a decent wage, but plenty big enough for an essay word count. Halfway through the final, painful stages of completion and I needed some new music in my life to boost morale.
In celebration of my slight glimpse of freedom, I post some cheeky tunes to lift my mood...
Sepalot - Go Get It (A C Slater Remix)
Sonny - Mora (Toxic Youth Remix)
Audio Bullys - Let Me Be Me (Jaymo Remix)
Daft Punk - One More Time (Sebastian Leger Remix)

DnB Classic Post!
OK it's a lazy post today cos of workload so check out some good olde fashioned drum and bass killers from back in the day! Obviously big fat bass bins are required to feel the beats here!

Good Old Days
Come to think of it, one of the best tracks I have in my distant memory of those hazy cruisin' days is this beast. Created the impetus for the progression of my then-fledging love of drum and bass. Still remember all the words haha
Further additions to the lineup...
Something for the kids (Release date April 20th... prob on Beatport):
You know you have trouble on your hands at around 2:55 when the euphoric vocals kick in and the song builds up for its crescendo of violent breaksy goodness. Squelch On!
We Plants Are Happy Plants - Bluebird (Headshotboyz Remix) (Right Click, Save As)
Rap Feast! KRS ONE was probably the first hip hop mc I played when cruising round aged 17 in my Dark Green Fiat Punto, 20 inch sub and 2 6x9's kicking out beats so hard that changing gear became an automatic process every bassline. Nice to know the man is still around, and staying true to his style. Think Redman x Rob Patten. Bo!
DJ Revolution feat. KRS ONE - The DJ(Right Click, Save As)
Kriss Kross - Jump (Wonk Remix)(Right Click, Save As)
Ludacris - What's Your Fantasy? (RobinDaHood Remix)(Right Click, Save As)
KRS ONE - The Sound Of The Police (Riva Starr ReChunk)(Right Click, Save As)

La Roux - In For The Kill (Last Japan Re-Edit)
I know, La Roux... covered, remixed, re-edited, re-scraped, re-done, reworked, reposted about ONE MILLION times.
But.
We have not heard from Last Japan. And Last Japan desires an audience. Second drop is where it's at.
HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY REMIX! (Right Click, Save As)

Buy this off Beatport
Great remix by SebastiAn, if anyone knows where to buy this on vinyl post a comment!
Links
This is Miami. This is where they have a Music Conference. It is not a sit down seminar. It involves drinking. Partying. Sun. Beaches. New music and great DJ's.

This is Egham. Not much goes on here.

Found this link posted on Deckhead, which I checked out on April 1st, it's a total April Fools Joke, and it generated about 100 comments of pure musical nerdiness in reply... pretty funny, check it out here.

TRANCE!
Arnej - Dust In The Wind
ELECTRO! Severe, Severe, Severe Banger A LERT! These were all sourced from Noiseporn... Top Blog!
Chewy Chocolate Cookies - It Was Only A Kiss (Right click, Save Target As)
Joust Minimix (Right click, Save Target As)
Beardyman Minimix Have a listen to this madness... saw him at Global last year and the badman has gotten a LOT better! Every noise in the mix is entirely done by the man himself, no instruments, samples, nothing... pretty damn amazing!
Beastie Boys - Check It Out (Timoshi Remix)
Enough of repping Noiseporn... these are some choice cuts from around the blogosphere....
Tiga - What You Need (Proxy Remix)
Kraak & Smaak - Squeeze Me (Redlight Remix)
Marco Del Horno - Samurai (Rusko Remix)
Myrone Aiden - I'll Be There (Fun Edit)
Dada Life - Happy Hands and Happy Feet (Phatzoo Remix)
I'm also such a fool... I haven't even posted the original of Dada Life! It's actually better than the glitchy Phatzoo remix, has all of his typical build up euphoric shizzle going down, so here follows the official music video!

Blog Links!
OK, so it has been pretty hectic with my dissertation being written and due soon, so I have decided to link up some blogs that showcase some wicked music, and that have songs that are currently working over people on hypem!
Keeping in line with no current trend in particular, these songs contain no dubstep in them at all... a relief for some, a shame for others. It's good to expand your horizons don't cha know?
So enjoy the links, and direct song links to follow when the crush of work is over:
Mas Diablo! at gottadancedirty
Bag Raiders - Fun Punch + Calling In Sick remix at Cassette Culture
Kanye West / Coma / Henson at digital my ass
Allure at Ohh! Crapp...
Nobody Listens To Techno.. at Deckhead
Bat For Lashes — “Travelling Woman” — Two Suns at the notes
So at Crazy Sugar Scheme
When You Were Young - Noisettes at Forward Music
I Kissed A Girl... again?! at Disco Demons
Diplo’s Mad Decent Partners With Downtown Music at The Tape
Adam Bozzetto + April Mixtape at soquitcherbitchen
dazz band at Double Cross
Lykke Li - Little Bit (VILLAINS remix) + pics from Fillmore show at katarokkar...
Until the Beat starts all I hear on this song intro is TC - Where's My Money... then it goes slightly differently...

It's Only Monday
This post begins with one of the most elusive tracks to have mashed up the dubstep scene, The Streets - Blinded By The Lights (Nero Remix), I have probably posted this before, but any good discussion of the new bangers taking over the scene need to have this bouncer at the front of proceedings!
Next up come the few dubstep tracks that have become permanent rotations on my music player. Several have been lined up to make an appearance at the SU but alas, politics usually constricts freedom and students will have to wait with baited breath until May.
Dave Gahan - Saw Something (Skream Remix)
16 Bit - In The Death Car (Vocal Remix)
Rogues - Not So Pretty (Example Remix)
Calvin Harris - Not Alone (Doorly Remix)
MGMT -Weekend Wars (George Lenton Remix)
Sinden & Herve - Jungle Whomp
Bonus track for your Monday morning blues:
Perfect Wave (Lebatman Remix)

Sunday Lunch
Here we go for another weekly distribution of some sweet songs that have made their way into my jukebox.
Big Bills (Jokers of the Scene Remix)
Boy Bill - Falling Anthem (Herve Remix)
Mustard Pimp - Gold
M.I.A. - Paper Planes (Remix For The Children)
El Mariachi Remix
This next track is a remix done to the tune of the old Stranglers classic "Ghost Town". The first 30 or so seconds keep the orginal track timepiece, then it flows into some distorted dubstep...
Rossi B & Luca - Ghost Town
Slightly more disturbing on the dubstep front is the grime-filled soundsystem banger spat out by Reso. Smash Yer Face In it most surely does!
Finally, to give you all some inspiration for the night ahead, and to afford some exposure to Duke Dumont's new Mixtape it's up to you to guess the tracklist of the 20 minute beast he has crafted. Crafted some might say from the fabric of heaven and interlaced with the threads of a thousand angel wings... nice!

Music for my friends!
So this is it, the inaugural post on Messaged, and it has taken me about 6 months since creating this blogspot to decide how to progress with it. I decided that I would use it via other social networking sites to share music, mixes and thoughts with interested people.
Right about now, this little baby is where the dubstep scene has arrived at, Nero releases an absolute brooding monster on dubplate, available nowhere unless you know the guy! Push for a release!
The Streets - Blinded By The Lights (Nero Remix)
While I wait for the damn zshare account info to come through I might as well upload some recent electro tracks!
Bloody Beetroots - Cornelius (Mix Oi!)
Calvin Harris - I'm Not Alone (Doorly Remix)
Wax & Valerna - Ridiculous (Stand The Fuck Up)
Beyonce - If I Were A Boy (Paul Anthony & ZXX Remix)
That should suffice for now, comment below for any specific genres wanted. Mixes to follow soon!
